hi, i’m Deanndra 👋🏾

i started State Your Mood in 2017 with one idea at the center of it: how we feel deserves room to exist.

growing up, some of my favorite ways to express myself came through music, dancing, cheerleading and all the little things that made me feel like me. as i got older, i realized how easy it is to lose pieces of that person somewhere between responsibilities, routines and simply growing up.

State Your Mood became my way of creating a bridge back.

today, i make nostalgic home fragrance for millennials who want their grown-up spaces to still have a little room for who they were before adulthood got so loud.

made with your space in mind

our candles are hand-poured in small batches using soy wax, clean wooden wicks + phthalate-free fragrance. everything is vegan and cruelty-free, with scents designed to make your space feel a little more like you.

and for every candle purchased, we plant one tree through One Tree Planted. 🌱
